Hey Gang

Thanks for all the feathers and I finally took the plunge and learned how to dye feathers - Tried PAS Easter Egg dye, Kool-Aid, Hawaiian Punch and Rit Liquid Dye. Except for the RIT the others all needed vinegar to set the color.

Still a rookie at it but getting better. Veniards makes a product called Fly Dye that has Florescant colors but have to build up some cash before I can get it.

Thanks again all!!!!!!!

Flies and jigs for any that will hit them. Really hard to get the nice big feathers that I received.

Do I need to save you some more from this year? If you have specific feathers you want, let me know and I will get what you want. I tried to pull a few from all areas of the ducks, but mainly I got them from under the wings down to the legs and tail.

That would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The flank feathers up under the wings and the chest feathers are the best like the ones in the pics. Have way too many tail feathers and wings but the flank I use a lot of!! Find out Monday at my Doc appt. if the back is going to let me do any hunting this year but the way it's acting I doubt it - been out of work with it since April although I can sit in a chair at work as well as I can at home.

Really appreciate the feather offer!! PM me your address and I'll send you some $$ to cover the postage.

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about the postage. I think it might have cost me a dollar last year. Once you build a jig, send me one of those that I can hang up at our hunting camp and show the folks that the feathers from our ducks came back in a different form. That would be great!!

I will concentrate on the flank feathers. I pulled several from the backs of the ducks also. Tried to get a few from all over the ducks. Flanks it will be. I sent you gw teal, gadwall, mallard and wood duck feathers. Are those species good for this year too??
