Was working today right on a lake, 35-40 mallards swimming around and saw one greenhead bobbin his head up and down for 30 seconds straight then jumps up on a hen pushed her head under and did his thang for maybe 3-4 good fast pumps and the deed was done... Hen swam off preening... Was a pretty cool thing to watch. Not that I'm weird like that or nothing lol...just enjoyed watching his little mating dance.
