I did have a hat cam to start the day but for some reason it wasn't wanting to work so I just used a typical digital camera. Normally I just use a Nikon Cool Pix but I recently dropped it and cracked the glass so on this hunt I was using one of the guys Canon. Not really sure what model it was. If you watch my other pheasant hunt video, "Canned Pheasant" (here's the link http://youtu.be/i4KCOfbkmIE ), you can see how the hat cam footage looks. The only bummer about the hat cam, a Midland XTC, is that it does not film in HD. I have been planning on upgrading all my cameras for quite some time but just never had it in the finances, or permission from my wonderful wife . But now I guess I just don' have a choice. So if I need new cameras anyhow I might as well step up a little while I am at it :D
Now that I have watched it a couple times, after not having been looking at it for several hours in a row while editing, I see that something must have been set wrong when I rendered it. A little lag/blur in the video when the camera is moving is in the finished video but is not on the raw footage. Huh, back to the editing equipment and try again. Dang, hope I can figure this one out.
I think this cured some of the issues. http://youtu.be/L-Yy8qEkzDo
