As expected, Saturday was not a good day. 3" of rain on Friday, cloudy with drizzle, low ceiling all had the ducks in the fields and out of the timber.

As expected, Sunday dawned clear and cold. What a difference a day makes. 3 guys ended up with 18 ducks. We shot into the first bunch of ducks and dropped a few and quickly realized we had better start waiting on some mallards and picking drakes. At 7:05 we quit with 7 green heads, 3 hen mallards, 2 gray ducks, 3 green wing teal drakes, 3 wood duck drakes. A mixed bag, but I shot the wood ducks as I think they eat best and those 3 are getting plucked and cooked in the oven for Thanksgiving.
