    Little slower today!

    Didn't get any of the spots we wanted today but went somewhere on a whim and ended up killing 12. Had 4 mallards, 4 blue bills, 3 buffleheads, and a canvasback. Should have several more bills but they came in wile we had the boat out chasing a cripple.

    Salt River hunting? Here in Va the buffleheads and canvasbacks stick to the big rivers (James, & Nansemond) thanks for the report I'm so ready for 5 am to get here so I can get on some woodducks Tomm am

    No big lake. No big rivers close to me or I would hunt them too more. Mississippi is 40-60 miles to the west and the Ohio is about the same to the east.
