    Mojo s? What's your stance?

I have been kicking around the idea of buying one for two years, but can help but think its one more thing to carry/ worry about ( battery's , stake) etc. do any of yall use them and does it really make the birds decoy and cup up? Or does it flair more than it brings in?

Well, I am more of a old school duck hunter who believes in decoy placement, concealment and calling to work ducks. That's the way I learned to duck hunt and it works. That's the way I hunt in the timber when I'm standing in the woods or in a small hole.
We do hunt one blind that is on about 8 or 10 acres of open water and we do use them, although sparingly, in there. The one thing I see that spinner will do is suck the gray ducks down from altitudes unknown. They may not light, but they will come in and hover long enough to shoot some of them. When the mallards are plentiful, we run 4 swimmer decoys and nothing else.

I have went out and bought the floating type I went by myself and it was a great morn ducks were around they would turn and start looking my way than flare off fast I went out an took it up before I could get the boat tied back up (so there was movement ) there were 35 mallards that were sitting down in the decoys!!!! I tried it again with close to the same results I have it away and will never ever hunt with or around another one

Never used one myself. I have watched others use them with much success. I have also watched others use them and seen many birds flare. I have no problem with others using them but it just isn't for me.
It's not the kill that makes the hunt
It's the hunt that makes the kill

Depends on the situation. I always have one with me. Some days they eat them up, other days they fly away. 2 years ago I left it in the truck. Some guys walked in from another direction and set up a couple. We shot 2 then they turned their mojos on. We watched them kill everything until they limited. When they finished we were done in 15 minutes. There is always one in my bag of tricks.

Now ducks over in a field its a must have. They are 50x more effective in a dry field scenario. Always run a remote in case the geese show up.

Exactly! Field hunts are a must and the specks will surely flare off of them.
