    Best tasting duck

When we have more members, I might set up voting, but for now, I'll just use a thread.

So what is your choice for best tasting duck?

Woodduck for sure, then teal. Just like GrnTmbrHntr said. Of course any dead duck is a good duck if properly prepared.

I like a wood duck or a teal. What I don't understand is the bad rap the snows get. I'd rather eat a snow than a Canada. Course we ain't had any snow geese lately and we were eating them back in the late 80's when we were hungry and surviving on $162 a week. Fried snow goose, snow goose fajitas, snow goose stew. ummm ummm good.

You soak that ole snow goose breast in ice water a day or so and get the blood out and it's mighty fine to eat. I think that ice water draws the mud out of the meat!!
