    Migration Reports

    I was reading a bunch of northern Midwest reports and it sounds like it is average to slow at this point. Please post reports of what you've seen or taken. When we have enough of them, I'll split off a separate forum.

    Starting to get some coots showing up here in So. Illinois they are usually some of the first "ducks" to show. Also seeing a lot of new pelicans, comrants, and egrets.

    That's about normal. Saw 2 flocks of blue wing teal and 1 flock of ring necks today.

    Looks about normal here in North Central Michigan. Some coot are starting to show. Woodies and teal numbers have dropped significantly in the past week. Saw some ringnecks and a pintail Saturday which typically don't start seeing until right about now so I would say we are right about on schedule here. Of course the cold winds are blowing today and for the next few days so I expect to see the bird numbers actually climb a bit in the next week.
