    Lost duck

Crappie Predator and I had a good hunt today and he has this one headed to the taxidermist. A very good sea duck to end up in Southern Illinois!

In almost 40 years of hunting the area I have taken 8 or 9, but most are hens or immature drakes. This is by far the best looking one I have seen around here. We have also killed several scoters, and a couple eiders.

Bahhhhh long tailed .... I guess is politically correct... I was wondering if other states changed the name too... None the less congrats on some very nice birds! I live 45 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and I've never seen a sea duck... Only divers I usually see are ringnecks and mergansers... Buffleheads, reds, and cans in the salt, but I usually stick to freshwater
