    Avian X Black Duck Decoys

I bought 2 dozen of these decoys a few weeks back. They are fully flocked and look top notch. There arent any black ducks, to my knowledge in north east Texas. But its definately something different for the birds to look at and they will see them from far off. The only down fall is the keels don't seem to be constructed very well. Has anyone hunted over any avian x decoys? Any problems with the keels?

The black duck decoys won't hurt a thing. We still use milk jugs painted black and to my knowledge, there aren't any black milk jugs flying around Arkansas! LOL
I think it is just a visibility thing with the black decoys.
As far as the keels, I can't help. I still use G&H decoys.

G&H has by far the best keels. Ive got gadwall, widgeon, teal that are 5-8 years old that i still use.

I'm using G&H that some are 30 years old. You are correct. Great keels and I'm tickled with the rest of it too.
