    Off season projects.

I plan on repainting some old carry lite bluebills and mallards into ringnecks. We have a lot of ringers here and I figure match the hatch right?

Also I plan on burlapping some old herters black duck foamers

And last of all I want to build a blind for my 1448 Jon boat. Thinking of building one simaliar to cabelas model. Ill take pictures along the way.

Any of y'all have any off season projects you hope to get to?

About the only thing I have going is building a new blind. I swore I was finished building blinds, but due to some recent changes in my hunting, I think I see the need. I really don't have to build it, as my friends and I pulled one out of a place and we just have to move it to the new place. Considering it is 6 feet to the floor and it is 6.5 feet tall, it does pose a problem carrying it 160 miles down the Interstate. The blind was 16 feet in length, but we did cut it in half. That will make it a little easier.

Other than that, planting some corn and soybeans for the deer and building a new deer stand for the wife. That with several crappie tournaments should keep me busy until November.

My project is this site. Also, I'm near Chicago, so as far as I can tell, my options nearby are limited. I need to research the options for hunting on public lands. I know there are locations relatively near that are assigned by lottery. I'll research that more and see where that leaves me. Regarding the site, hopefully I can get some shirts with the winghunter logo made. Meant to do that before last December, hopefully I can get it accomplished before next December.

Lots of stuff to do. Also buying some land that is in prime duck location. Just have to get some scratch together to put a pond in. Need to buy new decoys for sure.
