    3" gash in waders

Right in the upper part of the rubber boot... Took it to a tire shop to patch, guy said he has patched waders before but didn't think he could help these... Just ordered 3mm neoprene 1000 gram thinsulate cabelas waders... Still would like to attempt to patch the old ones... Has anyone ever patched the boot portion? What are my options?

Dang sharp beaver gnawed stick poked right through em... Had 20-25 gadwalls circle nine times this am but never commited... Should had just took a pass shot while they were low but was trying for that text book cupped and commited over dekes

Is it on a flat part or somewhere with contour? If its flat I would get it very clean/dry then scuff it up real good use a tire patch then once it is fully cured cover the whole area with shoo goo!
