Who uses em? I was thinking bout running some paracord through the blind floor and putting a bungee cord on the end with the other end attached to a stump, and putting 2 or 3 deeks 3-4 ft apart but worried it might be too much work or frustrating to deal with while trying to pick my birds/shots

I use them. This is the exact one I use although it wasn't $30 when I bought it

I also use one of these when necessary.

I use a homemade jerk string. We used a heavy wire to wire a trampoline spring to a tractor weight and then 100 feet of the heavy wire to the blind. Put 8 decoys on it and tied it off in the blind. It works for us. The other blinds that have deep water, we use a mallard machine and that serves the purpose.

I bought about 50ft of 1/8 bungee off of ebay and then kept doubling it until I got the "action" right. I also used the para card. Not only can you make a ripple, you can pull in about 10 feet or so of cord and catch it off. While the ducks are working, release the cord and let the decoys swim back toward the center of your setup. It works well. I used 3 bricks for the weight on the bungee end, but in shallow water, a person could attach it to a piece of rebar pushed into the mud.
